Privacy Policy

Last updated August 31, 2026

This is a working privacy policy for jakuly.com. It reflects the data we actually collect today. Final language is pending review by counsel; if anything here conflicts with applicable law in your jurisdiction, the law wins.

1. Who we are

jakuly.com is the practice site of Jaser (jaser@jakuly.com), a product-leader / fractional practice. We are not a broker, lender, or financial advisor.

2. What we collect when you use this site

  • Contact form: name, email address, and a free-text description of what you want to build.
  • Booking flow: when you book time via Cal.com, Cal collects your name, email, and any scheduling information you provide. We receive the same data through a webhook.
  • The Signal (/try): when you run the Signal, we store the product URL you provide, the data scraped from it, and the generated output. See the Trust page for what is scraped and stored.
  • Operational metadata: a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (not the raw IP) and your user agent string, used solely for abuse detection and rate-limiting.
  • Analytics: Plausible Analytics records pageviews and referrers. Plausible is cookie-free and does not collect personal data. See plausible.io/data-policy.

3. What we do with it

  • Reply to your message and follow up.
  • Run the features you initiated (the Signal). These calls flow through third-party model providers under their respective terms.
  • Send transactional email through Resend (booking confirmations, replies).
  • Detect abuse and enforce rate limits.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ad retargeting. We do not buy or rent contact lists.

4. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers, each contractually bound to process data only on our behalf:

  • Supabase (database, auth, edge functions).
  • Vercel (web hosting + serverless compute).
  • Resend (transactional email).
  • Cal.com (calendar booking).
  • Upstash (rate-limit cache).
  • Model providers (LLM calls for the Signal).
  • Vapi (optional voice on the Signal).
  • Plausible (cookie-free analytics).

5. Retention

  • Contact submissions and leads: kept until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner.
  • Signal session data: 90 days, then automatically purged.
  • IP hashes for abuse detection: 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you by emailing jaser@jakuly.com.

7. Children

The site is intended for business operators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
